Soft sweeping heron hackles and deep burnt orange soft hair against a black main wing give this fly a superb colour combination and a lively swing through even the smoothest pools. Enhanced with orange-dyed JC substitutes in both the tail and sides, it makes a striking impression. We fish them in whiskey-coloured water and even on days when the water has a brown tint.
