Spey Series
Ever since we first wound a heron hackle we fell in love with the graceful Spey fly. This series is simpler than the classics but even more effective. The movement of the fibers and the translucent appearance give the fly life. We also present two Zonkers, cut with the right tapering and pimped with a lovely sweeping heron hackle they are truly irresistible. Lastly, our little Shrimp fly has proven effective both on the coast and in clear rivers.

FRÖDIN FLY DESIGNS
Our fly series are made by what we think are the best commercial tiers in the world. We have trained these tiers for soon 20 years. They tie Mikael’s style where every turn of tying thread is important: tapering, translucency and movement are essential. The materials are carefully selected with our own FITS materials and SSS Synthetics, the best possible hair and Whiting hackles.
Currently the tiers are performing their best work in helping us to develop the art of fly tying in very modern facilities located in Thailand. Every individual is paid well and their families are looked after. Also with our fly production we try our best to build sustainably for the future!
