PM #09 – Zebra Samurai
Introducing the 9th pattern in the series!
The long-winged Samurai is one of Mikael’s most successful fly designs of all times. Fish it sideways as fast as possible and the fish cannot resist it.
The latest member of the Samurai family has taken many great fish already. The extra contrast from the white tubing against the black wing will help trigger the fish. The teal hackle gives it a classic touch. It’s a general favourite that we’ll fish in any conditions and almost in any size. Maybe we prefer it on that clear river on a cloudy day on the best beat on a classic big fish river.
