PM #05 – Micro Willie Gun & Black Simple Hitch

Presenting the fifth Pattern of the Month which includes two smaller flies: Micro Willie Gun & Black Simple Hitch!

Willie Gun is the classic British pattern that has taken so many good fish. The micro flies are light and deadly flies for the lower water. The TTT version for the faster parts of the pool. Here it’s tied in the modern Scandinavian version, soft, lively and extremely deadly.

To Hitch is an adventure! The Black Simple Hitch is our favorite hitch fly. It’s simple but special and has produced so many good takes. Good with the pattern is that it’s also very, very effective fished just under the surface.
