The Duke Salt Three is our dedicated tarpon model, engineered for large, fast-moving saltwater species where both strength and control are critical. With capacity for 200 m of 60 lbs backing and #9–11 lines, it is built to handle long, powerful runs with stability and precision. The ultra-smooth sealed drag system delivers consistent braking under heavy load, while the broad polished rim allows controlled hand pressure when needed. Whether targeting tarpon, GT, or sailfish, this reel performs with confidence and reliability, fitting single-handed rods up to #10/11 and pairing ideally with the upcoming SALAR Salt 9’ #10.
