This is a favourite sunshine fly. When the rivers is turning blue it is unbeatable, but it is also great in crystal clear rivers. A classic colour combination that is superb in tiny sizes. Perhaps this colours ruling the grilse box, but don’t be fooled many great big broad fish has been taken on tiny Sillen variants.
