The Swedish Sport Fishing Fair – the tour goes on!
Sure, now it was a few days ago, sorry that this blog came a bit late. It’s a super hectic time now building up for the season. But I will try to keep you updated on everything that happens.
As always it’s good at Elmia, this time maybe fewer fly fisherman despite a record with 15.140 people visiting. I was with Patagonia and as always feeling like I am in the right spot. There was a good interest in the new Danner boots. I had my samples there showing how good they took the first 130 days. Also great interest in the other cool stuff. I was wearing my “Fight for the Wild Salmon” tee and I must thank everybody being so nice coming up and thanking me for taking this fight. I think I shook hands with at least five hundred of you, again from my heart – thank you for the support! If you want to keep showing your support and join us in the fight, check out the dark grey tee in the shop here. Pretty cool we think, they spread the message and support us to be able to keep fighting hard.
Now I’m just back from Munich and the weekend’s fair. In between I have also visited and made a conservation speech at “Fiskeforum”, probably the most important salmon conference here in Sweden. Thanks also to our Swedish King who joined in and made the opening speech. I will get back shortly with a few lines around this special event and the German fair...
