Murmansk
Arrived in Murmansk – this city of grey concrete! I had a stop-over in St Petersburg where I had to wait for 6 hours….wonderful!
To travel alone through Russia is a challenging experience to say the least. For one they don’t speak English, moreover all signs and boards are completely impossible to read! A national Russian airport is indeed an interesting place!
Now it’s time to board the helicopter. In an hour we’ll be at the camp. Rumor says the water is low and too warm – soon I’ll know for sure.
