Alta - last day
The last day went in the same pattern as the other ones, many fish but not many real takes. My turn to be first out at Bulvero. Four pulls whereof two I raised the rod and really felt the big fish. Frustrating when the fish is so hesitant, not much you can do… We had a couple small ones, but most exciting was the 15 kilos which showed on the surface in Nielo and pulled my fly. Half the loop pulled out, then nothing.. shit!
Now I’m on my way to Iceland where the fishing been amazing all summer. Now a bit less water and trickier, but it will be nice, the fairy tale island is a salmon paradise as well!
