The SALAR Team on River Ljungan – United for the Wild Salmon
This year’s annual SALAR team trip took us to the River Ljungan — a beautiful and important salmon river in central Sweden. Bringing the team together is always a highlight, giving us time to test tackle, evaluate new samples, and share the insights that push our development forward. We stayed at Ljungan Lodge by the riverbank, enjoying good food, laughter, Convert Line testing, and the relaxed rhythm that only a salmon river can offer. Ljungan faces challenges from hydropower and hatchery operations, and in this film scientists and authorities share their perspectives on ongoing work to improve the river and support its wild salmon populations. A big thank you to the team for their knowledge and contribution!
