PM #27 – Torrish Samurai
In this months film Mikael talks about the importance of colour and ties a Samurai for dirty water. A early season Samurai for the days when the flies needs to appear with contrast and colour. When flash is necessary and yellow and orange stand out best. Maybe fished deeper than normal Samurais.
Remember the Samurai stile is meant to be shown to the fish sideways. In cold water the fish very often are in slower water, here this member of the Samurai family can be deadly effective. It has also proven to be one of the flies that really triggers the fall fish. Fish it fast and the big colourful males will chase it to kill.
