Wednesday – fine conditions on Em River
14 degrees Celsius, 19 m/s and partly cloudy. A few empty casts and not a single trout for a whole week – not the best odds, but, but... The day gave three contacts, one shortly behind the garage in the morning. A 5-/6-kilo fish took a Barett Bimbo but came off quickly. Changed tactics and fished a micro Pahta on a quick sink leader; missed a 7-kilo fish in Barett and then after 15 minutes of fighting: a big, evil, black male salmon in Home Pool. A lot of action after all. The night was cold and fruitless.
