The European Fly Fishing Fair EWF in Munich

My travelling has been a bit crazy this spring. Unfortunately, a few small blog posts are coming in a bit late. I am now on the plane back from Munich and EWF. As always it was a very well attended fair. In super nice spring weather thousands of people casted, looked at fly tying and bought the newest stuff that the market could present. I was in the Patagonia booth and I must say that my own heavily used Patagonia Danner boots probably was one of the things that got most attention. There must have ben thousands of people that checked the perfect seems and quality after my hard use.

I don’t know how many beers that were sold but it was a bit like Oktoberfest haha... Germans like their beer that’s for sure! I like this fair and for next year we will be represented with full assortment of both our fly series and our fly tying. Now home to change bags and off to Iceland for a press tour to the fish farming facilities that threaten the genuine wild Icelandic salmon stocks. Wednesday is the European premiere of Artifishal. Please everyone, join us – come to the premiere if you can, sign the petition here and support us in the Fight for the Wild Salmon!
