PM #41 – Icelandic Nano Tubes

The Nano Series was originally made for Iceland’s extremely small fly tradition. We all know that fly size really matters, and these nano sized salmon flies has proven to take salmon even in deeper and a bit coloured water. When temperature rises and fish get very tricky the most effective method is to go down in size. To just change a few mm is seldom the trick – be brave and fish what you think is too small. Pick one size smaller than you think and you get closer to the right fly. In clear and warm conditions two or three sizes smaller might be even better.
