PM #15 – Classic Mikkeli Blue

Mikael ties one of his most famous fly patterns – Mikkeli Blue. The fly was born on the Alta in a river boat on what is maybe the most famous salmon beat in the world – Mikkeli. This is an awesome dusk and night fly, a fly with colours that stay longest when the lights fade away. Broad with a great silhouette created with a special winging technique this is a super fly that have given many great fish around the world. Many passionate fisherman’s favorite including the King Harald of Norway.
