Friday – sunshine
Sunshine - tricky conditions for a salmon fisher!
We started down towards Gabo and although we saw some salmon we were not able to entice any action! Only after dinner, when the clouds came in, conditions easened up!
The day gave only a few small salmon, but a quickly fished Samurai tied on a white tube with a white/black wing gave a gentle tug in Hareströmmen. The fish was big, 15 kg +, and I knew it was badly hooked - and unfortunately it was lost after only a few minutes.
Now we are packing for new adventures in Iceland!
